Today we upgraded a 200 amp service to 400 A. We updated the grinding and bonding, installed surge protection, and installed exterior disconnects all required by code.

Electrical Installation Service: Installed new hard-wired smoke detectors with battery backup throughout the home. Positioned units in bedrooms, hallways, and common areas according to safety guidelines. Connected detectors for interconnectivity, so all alarms trigger simultaneously. Tested each unit and confirmed proper operation, ensuring reliable early warning protection.

Electrical Installation: Installed a dedicated circuit for a new high-powered microwave and oven combination unit. Ran wiring from the panel, installed the appropriate breaker, and connected the appliance to ensure it receives consistent power without overloading existing circuits. Tested under load to confirm proper performance and safe operation.

Electrical Safety Inspection: Completed a detailed safety inspection for a recently purchased home. Evaluated the electrical panel, checked wiring condition in accessible areas, tested outlets for proper grounding and GFCI protection, and inspected smoke detectors. Identified several minor code violations and aging components, then provided recommendations to improve overall safety and reliability.

Lighting Installation: Installed recessed LED lighting throughout a living room where previous lighting was dim and uneven. Measured and laid out fixture placement for balanced coverage, cut ceiling openings, and ran new wiring tied into an existing switch leg. Installed dimmer controls and tested each light for consistent output. Final result provided much brighter, evenly distributed lighting with improved energy efficiency.

EV Charger Installation: Installed a residential EV charging station in the garage. Ran a dedicated circuit from the electrical panel, mounted the charger securely to the wall, and ensured correct breaker sizing and grounding. Tested charging output with the vehicle connected and confirmed reliable operation for daily use.

Aluminum Wiring Restoration: Responded to address aging aluminum wiring in the home. Inspected affected circuits and installed approved copper wiring in the home. Reinforced termination points at outlets and switches to reduce overheating risk. Conducted continuity and load testing to confirm safer operation.

Electrical Panel Upgrade: Dispatched to replace an outdated electrical panel that could no longer support household demand. Safely removed the old panel, installed a higher-capacity unit, and transferred all circuits. Balanced loads across breakers, labeled each circuit clearly, and tested voltage output. Final inspection confirmed the system could handle modern appliance usage safely.

Electrical Installation: Arrived to install a dedicated circuit for a high-demand appliance. Added a new breaker to the panel, ran new wiring to the appliance location, and secured all connections. Confirmed proper grounding and breaker sizing. Tested amperage draw to verify the appliance could operate without affecting other circuits.

Electrical Troubleshooting: Called out to investigate occasional power loss in several areas of the home. Performed circuit tracing and inspected junction boxes and breakers. Discovered a loose conductor and a weakened breaker causing voltage drops. Repaired the wiring connection, replaced the breaker, and tested circuits under load to ensure reliable performance.

Emergency Electrical Service: Dispatched for reports of a burning odor and flickering lights. Immediately shut down affected circuits and inspected nearby wiring and devices. Located overheated wiring behind an outlet in the living room caused by a loose connection. Repaired the damaged conductors, replaced the outlet and breaker, and restored power only after confirming the area was safe and stable.

Electrical Installation: Arrived to modernize the home’s lighting and outlet controls with smart home devices. Removed existing switches and receptacles, installed smart-home-compatible replacements, and verified proper wiring and grounding. Connected each device to the home’s Wi-Fi network and tested mobile app and voice control functions. Provided a brief walkthrough on scheduling, remote access, and manual override features before completing service.

Today we replaced the main electrical service panel, updated grounding and bonding, installed the emergency disconnect on the outside of the house, and surge protection in the main panel as required by code. Grounding and bonding included driving two ground rods outside, running a ground wire to the cold water shut off, and bonding the water heater. Work is complete.

Today’s visit was for reviewing inspection corrections. Customer is buying the home and would like the electrical issues fixed before moving in. The list is correcting wiring for a three-way system, separating grounds and neutrals in main panel, installing a Caseta system in the basement to provide a three-way system, and replacing receptacles in the sunroom and bedroom that are not installed properly. We will be returning once the papers are signed to complete the work.

Today’s visit was for a circuit tripping that has a water pump connected to it. After investigating, I saw that the pump was on a dedicated circuit. The pump seems to have a short in it and a plumber will be needed to correct this issue. As for the main electrical service itself, with the age and lack of safety features, I recommend replacing the service to get it to today’s safety standards.

Replaced bad GFCI and arc fault breaker

Today’s visit was for troubleshooting smoke detectors. We were able to troubleshoot and fix the issue. All is working now.

Day 1 of 3. Today we returned to start replacing all the receptacles throughout the house.

Today’s visit was for changing out a few different lights throughout the house. One was on the front steps about 12 feet in the air, the other was in the basement bathroom, which was a one by four fixture, and lastly, there was a vanity light in the upstairs hallway bathroom that the customer wanted replaced. I reviewed the scope of work with the customer which he approved. Work is complete.

Today’s visit was for microwave circuit tripping. I saw that the microwave was not on a dedicated circuit and pulled more power than the circuit would allow. I recommended running a dedicated circuit for the new microwave that was installed. We will be returning to complete the work.

Today’s visit was for completing the work previously agreed to. We installed a ring floodlight above the garage where none existed deriving power from the closest source. We also replaced the ring camera on the front of the house and did a new install on the side door using an elk transformer. Work is complete.

Customer had flickering lights in kitchen. They would intermittently stop working and turn back on. Issue was due to broken switch. While doing my assessment, I also saw the rest of the kitchen's devices were in the same conditon. I recommended replacing the devices on that circuit. Customer proceeded with the work . Job is complete.

Today’s visit was for multiple items that needed to be addressed. Customer had three-way system in hallway that was not working, front of home light was on timer that was not working, and other timers in home were not set to the right schedule. We were able to troubleshoot and correct all issues. Work is complete.

I was called to replace smoke detectors in a customer's home. The customer had a tenant living there and needed the work completed as soon as possible. I was able to come same day and replace the devices. The work is complete.
